New Pictures!

I¬†have finally posted some new pictures! Check out the gallery titled “The First Week“.

Settling In

After four nights in a tiny little stuffy scottish hostel, I have finally moved into my flat! I have the most beautiful view across the open park which leads to the most beautiful mountains. The weather has been great so far and best of all… I have internet! I promise to put a ton of pictures up and I hope to post a little more often. I have met people from all over the US including LA,¬†Seattle, the Carolinas, and a few from Memphis never mind all my new friends from other parts of the world! One of my roommates in the hostel was from Germany, one my roommates in my flat is from Ireland and I have met people from Italy, France and even a few from Scotland. Im currently in my week of orientation and I start classes next week. Tomorrow is the day to pick out classes and I am hoping to take one of my electives in Scotch making! The other three will be made up of two computer classes and one Scottish culture class. I promise to post some pictures soon!

Day of Departure

After much procrastination, my bags are packed and I’m finally ready to leave! Well physically. Mentally Im still nervous and anxious to get on the plane. Im taking out of Boston’s Logan at 7:15 and will arrive in London six hours and twenty minutes later. I then have a three hour lay over during which I will be going through customs and receiving my UK student visa. The connection flight is an hour and a half and I will finally be in Edinburgh, Scotland! A group of Napier students will be there to greet me and bring me to my hostel in the middle of the city. Im then going to relax a bit and finally wrap up the night by hitting the town.
