Last night Mary and I went on a 700 person pub crawl around Edinburgh sponsored by Napier! It was a blast. We started at about 7:00 and hit three of the six pubs/clubs. She and I traveled with a group of my new friends and had the best time just experiencing everything from traditional little pubs to big multiple floor dance clubs. She and I tried a couple of local drinks including a local wisky. Oooo man was it strong! Mary turned green when she tasted it and I felt like I was eating peat moss. All was good and it just showed me what I DO NOT like.
Tonight, I went on a ghost tour with my Napier crew. From court yards to underground passages we heard ghost stories of haunted places and times. It reminded me to go on the tour of the underground city. We hope to do that soon. Overall my first week in Scotland has been amazing!  I have met some great new people and have really enjoyed learning about this new culture.
